- (Ciorcal Comhrá) Conversational Irish group weekly meetings continue in the Naomh Malachi clubrooms every Thursday evening from 8pm until Christmas. All welcome. Contact Clare 042 9377137. Free.

- The celebration night of the 25th Anniversary of the 1990 IFC Final versus St Josephs will take place in the Naomh Malachi clubrooms on Saturday, October 24th. Contact committee members for further details.

- Louth County Executive I.F.A 60th Anniversary banquet on Saturday 6th of November in Ballymascanlon House Hotel. Tickets from any member of Shelagh I.F.A or Peter Duffy 0877709142

- Congratulations to Tony Woods who received his gold pin from Blood Transfusion Service. Tony first give blood in 1974.

- Part-time childminder required in the Shelagh area for two young children. For further information contact (086) 6620739.

- The N53 (Castleblayney Road) will be closed for a duration of three-months, effective from Monday, August 24th.

Naomh Malachi CLG
– The celebration night of the 25th Anniversary of the 1990 IFC Final versus St Josephs will take place in the clubrooms on Saturday, October 24th. Contact committee members for further details. St Josephs are hosting their celebration of the night on Saturday, October 3rd in their clubrooms. All are welcome to attend.

- Halloween party will take place in the clubrooms on Saturday, October 31st. Further details to follow in the coming weeks.

- Nominations night for the AGM will take place on Friday, November 13th. AGM will take place on Friday, November 27th. Contact Joey or Aine for further details.

- Congratulations to Kilkerley Emmets who captured the IFC title last weekend. It was great to see the Seamus Flood Cup back once again in familiar surroundings. Well done to all involved.
