– Naomh Malachi are planning a walkway around the pitch at their grounds in Courtbane. This facility will be available for all in the local and wider community to use as part of a healthier, active lifestyle. Should you wish to help out in any way, contact any member of the committee.
– Well done to all from the community who took part in the annual Pat Gogarty Trail Walk/Run on St Patricks morning in Jenkinstown Forest. All proceeds to charity.
– Jive lessons continue in Naomh Malachi on Monday evenings from 8pm. 
A fantastic dance teacher is on hand to get you all right up to date with the jiving craze that is sweeping the country currently. All ages and skill levels welcome to come and take part in a great evenings fun!
– Congratulations to Alan and Francis Greene who celebrated their 30th birthdays last week.
– Beginners Irish dancing classes for children aged 5 upwards continue in Naomh Malachi from 4pm-5pm each Monday. This fantastic initiative encourages Irish culture and exercise in our youth and community. First class is free; €20 per month thereafter.
– Ciorcal Comhra continue every Thursday night in Naomh Malachi from 8pm. All welcome. Fáilte!
– Anyone in the Shelagh who is interested in refresher training or full training on the communities defibrillator is asked to contact Fra on 0857316878.
– Caoga: The Naomh Malachi Story documentary DVDs are available to purchase for €20 from the clubhouse or from Watters Shop. Limited copies remain.
– Football training continues on Tuesday and Friday evenings from 8pm under Paul McShane. All players in the area are welcome to train. Contact Fra for further details.

Naomh Malachi
- Kevin Mullen Shield Rd 3: Naomh Malachi v Glyde Rangers in Courtbane on Saturday, March 24th at 5pm. All support appreciated.

– Our underage registration took place on Tuesday, March 14th in the clubrooms. For 2017 the underage membership will be €10 per child or €20 for a family. Under 6 training will start on Tuesday, March 21 at 7pm. Older kids training will start on Wednesday, March 22nd. All new players welcome. For more information contact Fra on 0857316878.
– We will be hosting our first ever ‘Cúl Camps’ this summer on August 14th. This is great news for all the local children who are participating in Gaelic Games in the area, and testament to the incredible work that is being done at underage level by all. Maith síbh go léir!
– Louth GAA Coaching & Games are looking for coaches for the Louth GAA Kellogg’s Cúl Camps which will be taking place at various venues throughout the county this summer. They are looking for both lead coaches (18 years +) and assistant coaches (16/17 year olds). Contact Tracey for more information.
– Club membership is now due and closes on March 31st. Adults: €50. Family: €75. Students/OAPs: €25. Your annual subscription contributes greatly to the running of your club. Contact Ruairi Daly. All members will be published on the website accordingly and will be included in our annual draw for All-Ireland tickets.
