– The Parents Committee of Scoil Bhride would like to thank everyone who supported their sponsored walk on Saturday. It was a great to see such a good turnout. They would also like to thank the Ladies Club, Peter and Margaret Finnegan and Naomh Malachi GFC for all their help.
– The Shelagh Vintage Run was a huge success. Many thanks to all who took part in the spectacular showing. Particular thanks to Luke Murtagh, Peter Rooney and Jimmy Gorman who organised the event. Many thanks also to Dawn Folk who provided the entertainment in the clubrooms afterwards. All proceeds towards the walkway.
– Car Boot Sale on Sunday, July 9th in Naomh Malachi from 9am-2pm. Cars: €10; Vans €15. All welcome.
– Irish Country Quads is now taking bookings for Summer Camp 2017. You have 8 weeks to choose from, commencing 3 July 2017. The camp runs Monday to Friday 9.30am to 1.30pm. Activities include quad biking, archery, airsoft bell challenge, action target and a host of quad biking challenges. – Beginners Irish dancing classes for children aged 5 upwards continue in Naomh Malachi from 4pm-5pm each Monday. This fantastic initiative encourages Irish culture and exercise in our youth and community. First class is free; €20 per month thereafter.
– Ciorcal Comhra has taken a break and will recommence in September.

– Rachael’s Room Preschool is now enrolling for ECCE September 2017 and January 2018. Toddler class also available two mornings a week for children aged 2 and over. Contact Rachael on 0858439618. Places are limited!

Naomh Malachi
– Well done to the Kilkerley Emmets/Naomh Malachi U14 team who have reached the Division 2B league final following a comprehensive victory over St Marys last week. The final against Roche Emmets will take place on Monday evening at 7:30pm in Darver. Best wishes to Aaron, Shane, and Andrew, and their team mates.
– The Seniors suffered a league defeat to Naomh Mairtin last Monday night. This week they travel to Ballyballie on Tuesday evening for a 8pm fixture against the John Mitchels while they face the Westerns in Courtbane on Friday evening with a 8pm throw-in.
– As it’s the first year of our Cúl Camps, Naomh Malachi are hosting a camp we are making a big effort to get people signed up. We would appreciate if you could encourage all our Mini Mals to attend while kids from other clubs are also welcome.
– The community walkway is officially open. Well done to all who contributed to its development.
