– Condolences to the Fee and Laverty families on the passing of Tom Fee (Donaghmoyne), to Paul McShane on the passing of his sister Maisie Finnegan (Silverbridge), and to the friends and family of Peter Hoey (Knockbridge), Louth GAA President and founder member of Naomh Malachi. May they Rest In Peace.
– Tickets are selling fast for the Naomh Malachi 50th Anniversary Celebrations on Saturday, August 13th. There is a limited supply remaining and the event is ticket-only. There will be a five-course meal with music and lively chat. As part of the celebrations, Naomh Malachi will showcase Caoga, a documentary outlining the history of the club.
– Congratulations to Stephen Burns and Annmarie Caherty who got married recently.
– A fundraising night in memory of the late Aine and Brendan Hoey will be held on Friday, August 12th in the Naomh Malachi marquee. Admission €10. Music by Seamus and Bernard, and Setanta. All proceeds in aid of SOSAD Dundalk and the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast.

– Scoil Bhríde, Shelagh reopens after the summer holidays on Thursday the 1st of September 2016. New Infants will have a shorter school day from the Thursday 1st to Friday 9th September (9.20-12.30) and begin a full day (9.20-2.00) from Monday, 12th September 2016.
