– Scoil Bhríde, Shelagh was delighted to have a highly favourable report returned from the Department of Education from the ‘Follow Through Inspection’  held on Thursday, 28th April 2016 by Mr. John White of the Inspectorate. We quote “The school has engaged with the key recommendations of the report in a strategic, reflective and practical manner. As such, deliberate and proactive approaches to contextualising the recommendations within concrete and purposeful planning and classroom practice have been developed.’
– Also, we were very proud of our children and staff when we received high praise indeed from the experienced Tour Guides on Causey Farm. Andy and Eimear repeatedly commented on the kindness of the children, the mutual respect we showed each other and the care we took of each other. They also complimented us on the very special dynamic between staff and children. Apparently, out of 200 schools . . . “We are the school to beat!”. So lovely to hear it from experienced child care staff who work with schools on a daily basis.
– Scoil Bhríde, Shelagh reopens after the summer holidays on Thursday the 1st of September 2016. New Infants will have a shorter school day from the Thursday 1st to Friday 9th September (9.20-12.30) and begin a full day (9.20-2.00) from Monday, 12th September 2016.
