- Happy New Year to all in the Shelagh area!
– Congratulations to Colin Murtagh and Niamh NicAoidh who got married this week in St Lucia.
- Congratulations to Nicole and Declan Campbell on the birth of baby girl, Grace.
– Condolences are extended to the Murray family on the passing of Club President, Kevin, and to the Fee and Laverty family on the recent passing of Mary Fee (late of Doylesfort Road). Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anamacha.
- Lordy, Lordy! Happy birthday wishes are extended to Sean Gogarty and Feidhlim Day who celebrated their 40th birthdays recently.

- Ciorcal Comhra has resumed on Thursday evenings in the Naomh Malachi clubrooms at 8pm. All are welcome to attend.
– Caoga: The Naomh Malachi Story documentary has gone on sale. DVDs are available to purchase for €20 from the clubhouse or else contact Ronan Lynch for further details.
- Naomh Malachi football training has resumed on Tuesday and Friday evenings from 8pm under Paul McShane. All players in the area are welcome to train. Contact Fra for further details.

Naomh Malachi
- Naomh Malachi thank everyone who attended the various events in club rooms over the busy festive period.
 Our lotto recommences with the first draw of the year taking place on Sunday January 29th. The Committee have a busy social calendar planned for 2017, with Saturday night music and craic planned to commence February 18th. Details will be announced in the coming weeks.
– Club membership is now due and closes on March 31st. Adults: €50. Family: €75. Students/OAPs: €25. Your annual subscription contributes greatly to the running of your club. Contact Ruairi Daly. All members will be published on the website accordingly and will be included in our annual draw for All-Ireland tickets.
– Caoga: The Naomh Malachi Story documentary has gone on sale. DVDs are available to purchase for €20 from the clubhouse or else contact Ronan Lynch for further details.
– Our club shop section has been added to the O’Neills website where you can purchase Naomh Malachi merchandise (https://www.oneills.com/shop-by-team/gaa/ireland/naomh-malachi-gfc.html). A portion of the revenue from these sales will go back into the club.

– Louth GAA are hosting a Coaching Conference on Saturday, 21st January in Louth GAA Centre of Excellence, Darver. If you are interested in attending, contact Tracey for further details.
– The GAA National Club Draw tickets are available to buy from any committee member. Price €10 per ticket. There are numerous excellent prizes to win. Tickets need to be returned by February 3rd. All money raised go back into club.
– Naomh Malachi would like to wish all our members and those within the Shelagh community a Happy New Year.
