– Jive lessons will commence in Naomh Malachi on Monday, 13th February at 8pm. 
A fantastic dance teacher will be on hand to get you all right up  to date with the jiving craze that is sweeping the country currently. All ages and skill levels welcome to come and take part in a great evenings fun!
– Irish dancing classes for children aged 5 upwards may be introduced in Naomh Malachi clubroom subject to sufficient interest. Available options are Monday 4pm-5pm, or Friday evening 4pm-5pm, 5pm-6pm or 6pm-7pm. Any parents interested please contact 087 9068288 with time preference and number of children. First class will be free; €25 per month thereafter.
- Best wishes to local couple, Eamonn and Tara Murphy on their new business venture, Coffee Lounge, which has opened on Clanbrassil Street. Ádh mór!
- Well done to local songwriter Nuala Woods whose original song “Two Rooms and a Kitchen” features on Robert Mizzell’s new album “Travelling Shoes”. The album was awarded Album of the Year at the Sunday World Country Music and Entertainment Awards recently and was also Album of the Week on RTÉ Radio One. In a review of the album, Phoenix Radio named Nuala’s song “Two Rooms and a Kitchen” as the Number One Song on the album.
- Congratulations and best wishes to Micheal Woods and Megan Ní Ghaillín on their recent engagement.
– Caoga: The Naomh Malachi Story documentary has gone on sale. DVDs are available to purchase for €20 from the clubhouse from Watters Shop or else contact Ronan Lynch for further details.
- Football training has resumed on Tuesday and Friday evenings from 8pm under Paul McShane. All players in the area are welcome to train. Contact Fra for further details.

Naomh Malachi
We have been drawn in Group A of this year’s Kevin Mullen Shield. First up is a clash on Sunday versus Cuchulainn Gaels in Courtbane. Throw-in is 11am. Best wishes to the players and management as they get the season underway.
– Saturday night music returns to the club on February 18th. Details will be announced in the coming weeks.
– Sincerest thanks to Louth County Councillor, Tomás Sharkey for this recent donation to the club as part of his allocations.
– Congratulations to Colin Kelly and the Louth team on their opening round league victory over Laois last weekend.
– Congratulations to the members of the successful U14 Kilkerley Emmets/Naomh Malachi panel, who received their medals recently in the company of County Board Secretary Fra Kieran among others, at the recent ceremony in Kilkerley Community Complex. 
Hopefully, there will be many more medals for these young players in the near future. Well done to

– Naomh Malachi will be hosting our first ever ‘Cúl Camps’ this summer on August 14th. This is great news for all the local children who are participating in Gaelic Games in the area, and testament to the incredible work that is being done at underage level by all. Maith síbh go léir!
– Club membership is now due and closes on March 31st. Adults: €50. Family: €75. Students/OAPs: €25. Your annual subscription contributes greatly to the running of your club. Contact Ruairi Daly. All members will be published on the website accordingly and will be included in our annual draw for All-Ireland tickets.
