– Congratulations to all who helped organise the Naomh Malachi 50th Anniversary celebrations. Saturday nights festivities will live long in the memory for all who were there. It was a fitting tribute to all the hard work that has taken place over the past half-century. Maith sibh go léir!
Caoga: The Naomh Malachi Story documentary will go on sale in the month of October. Details to follow.
– A huge congratulations to Aidan and Adrienne Hoey and the Mackin Family who raised over €15,000 from their fundraising night in memory of the late Aine and Brendan Hoey. All proceeds are in aid of SOSAD Dundalk and the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast. A presentation will be made over the coming number of weeks.
– Congratulations to Gearóid and Deborah Wills on the birth of baby Kate, and to Kevin and Orla Begley on the birth of baby James.
– Congratulations to all the locals who have received their Leaving Certificate results. Best wishes with your future careers.
– Commiserations to Naomh Malachi who bowed out of the Junior Football Championship at the quarter-final stage at the hands of Lann Leire.
– Happy 50th Birthday to Sean Moley who recently celebrated reaching the milestone.

– Scoil Bhríde, Shelagh reopens after the summer holidays on Thursday the 1st of September 2016. New Infants will have a shorter school day from the Thursday 1st to Friday 9th September (9.20-12.30) and begin a full day (9.20-2.00) from Monday, 12th September 2016.
