Best wishes to our own Kevin Rogers, who lines out for Louth in the Allianz Football League Division 2 opener with Westmeath. The Shanmullagh native makes his league debut for the Wee County in Mullingar on Sunday, in new Louth manager, Aidan O’Rourke’s first league game. Over the course of the coming year, Naomh Malachi are embarking on a number of developments of the club’s facilities. Work has already begun on the conversion of the two old dressing rooms into a new gym. Get On Your Bike

In the coming weeks, Naomh Malachi, in conjunction with Oliver Plunketts/Eoghan Ruadh (Dublin), will launch a joint fundraising initiative. Member and supporters of both clubs will participate in a 100Km trip from the Navan Road to Courtbane (in early June), with the return leg, from Courtbane to Navan Road to take place later in the summer.
